Haven’t they done well

Whilst I seem unable to get almost anything achieved (and I thought I’d be riding again by now – pah!), I’m delighted to report that others are out there partying with success…

There have been two partnerships making their British Dressage debuts in the last two weeks. Sarah Hetherington with one of her lovely coloured mares Trinny, and Debbie Reeves with her smart young horse Jazz . Both had gone out on a ticket to gently dip a hoof in the water, but easily held their own with really good scores well over 60% and good placings in their sections. This is a fantastic start to their affiliated competing and I look forward to them getting registered and working with them towards their Area Festivals and more…

I also have news from Zalena and her new owner Claire Carter. They have been together for a month now and things are really coming along. They had a lesson with Andrew Gould yesterday who commented on what a lovely partnership they had, and much to Claire’s delight they went to Stilebridge for their first competition today and won with a score of 66%. I am really pleased for Claire but also for previous owner Zoe who had to make the difficult decision to sell her horse, but was able to be at her first competition cheering her on and seeing them do so well.

Apologies for the slightly blurry pictures, but that’ll be the rain!
